Ernest Hemingway & His Laptop Computer
By David Stilwill on Dec 4, 2007 in Uncategorized
Writing and travel broaden your ass if not your mind and I like to write standing up.
Ernest Hemingway
Though a fan of Royal Typewriters, if alive today perhaps Hemingway would have endorsed this rugged computer:
Everyone knows travel and adventure writing from all over the globe can be tough on your equipment. That’s why I use RuffPC laptop computers. Their shock resistant capabilities protect nicely during rough jeep rides across African plains or while outrunning bulls on the streets of Spain. Glare is no longer a problem either, with the sunlight readable screen I find it easy to use whether fishing the seas off Cuba’s coast or skiing the bright winter snows of Sun Valley, Idaho. Let us not forget the spill-proof keyboard - wine, whiskey and gin all wipe right off and the keys are backlit for easy typing during those late night writing sessions.
RuffPC - masculine, practical & enduring - Just like my novels.
Have the inklings of a great writer in you? The Thinking Blog is giving away a free laptop, to enter just write about it and you may soon be toasting the successes of your latest adventure novel with your fellow bohemians in the sidewalk cafes of Paris.
Note: satire- no actual endorsement by Mr. Hemingway implied.

It would be nice if this company actually made the Notebook PC rather than just sticking their logo over someone elses product
Heres the real manufacturer

Thanks for pointing that out. Rebranding certainly is not an uncommon practice though.
Those videos are awesome - I thought I mistreated my electronics!
