The staff at Adventure Bookshelf has recently started reading The Adventure Blog. Yeah, were easy - just tack the word adventure to a decent amount of writing and we’ll come shuffling around, like a kid in bunny slippers asking for a bedtime story.

It’s a great site chock full of contemporary adventure and outdoor related posts - rock climbing, mountaineering, adventure racing, adventure news as well as information about media coverage and entertainment pertaining to the world of mankind pushing the boundaries. There is also an excellent collection of adventure and gear links that lead to a lot of great sites and will keep the web surfer busy for hours.

There is a lot of writing on this site, with a prolific amount posts going back to February 2006. Though each post is labeled with categories there does not seem to be a main index to help visitors narrow down and locate specific items of interest. Perhaps that’s part of the adventure though. Go check it out, it’s worth a visit.
